Ever since happiness heard your name it has been running through the streets trying to find you.

The birdsong is like church gongs outside, they are belling all over the garden. The secretive birds a-fluttter with their beaks of grass looking like undercover mustaches ~ the red headed house finches trying valiantly to build onto the chimney pipe ~ the newly-hatched crumpled blossoms on the tomato seedling...
What's bringing you happiness today?

beautiful. you have very expressive hands. and words, for that matter. :)
happiness today is homemade granola filling the kitchen with cinnamon and vanilla-scented goodness, and an entire day to do anyyyyything i choose--most likely involving paint!
My new organic make-up remover that smells wonderful (it's oil based and made with safflower, jojoba and apricot), fresh tomatoes I can't wait to cut up, and unsalted butter on bread.
And just like you, the birds in my yard. I watched them this morning, and they made me very happy.
Today is a kind of busy day - I'm happy for the sunshine and blue skies, but I have all sorts of errands and obligations today so I won't be able to enjoy it as much as I like. What is making me happy is looking forward to Saturday - it's Davis's diet 'cheat day' so we're going out for breakfast, then walking along the harbour. :)
Hope you have a good weekend!
Happiness is
the gone-over rowan blossom, faintly pink between the leaves :: the glorious sunshine this morning which set me up for the day :: the evening shower just past, leaving everything dripping and an overpowering smell of g r e e n :: the first flowers on the peas and beans :: handsewing quietly
The Tibetan book of Living and Dying, for the past few weeks :)
Happiness today is sunshine after 5grey and rainy days, meeting old friends for laughter and lunch, and finding a gorgeous gold and blue dish that looks like it was plucked from the ocean for a whopping $7.99.
There is poetry in your hands Brooke!
So many things bring happiness today - - coffee in a bright orange mug, my cat Limano who shows me each day that he is really a dog in a cats body, waking up green swells on the hillside, pairs of swans flying over our house, time to paint and paint and paint....
"The birdsong is like church gongs outside, they are belling all over the garden." Such lyric words, I love reading them.
thank you everyone of you, for sharing your happinessess with me ~ I was reading some of them to tim. :) I hope the rest of each of your weekends is filled with more happy things...

Love the word happinessess. It reminds me of another happiness. My brother, when asked as a kid what he wanted to be when he grew up, always replied 'I want to be a physicicicicicist'. He's now studying physics in college :)
